The man behind Leslie Bloom is Simon Topping; character comedian, improviser, stand up and actor.  

He was the British Comedy Guide's "Stand up and Deliver" competition finalist in 2025.  
His show: "Leslie Bloom Solves a Murder" was Award nominated in Brighton Fringe 2026 and has toured the country to sell out shows and rave reviews.

He has been performing solo work regularly since 2021 and before that was to be found frequenting the Brighton improv scene, which he continues to do.  

He's a comedy actor - You can see him as Professor Pleasure in The Pleasure Machine. Released in 2025.

Most recently he has started to peel back the veil and perform as himself. Although, his passion lies in all things alternative, which can be seen on display at his monthly Alt Comedy night - Extra Topping.
