The man behind Leslie Bloom is Simon Topping; character comedian, improviser, stand up and actor.  He was a British Comedy Guide "Stand up and Deliver" finalist in 2025.  He has been performing solo work regularly since 2021 and before that was to be found frequenting the Brighton improv scene, which he continues to do.   Most recently he started to peel back the veil and perform as himself, although his passion lies in all things alternative, which can be seen on display at his monthly Alt Comedy night - Extra Topping.
